With a passing rate of 100%, the City Council of Manila, at a regular session held on on 13 June 2023, commended the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) for its performance in the recent Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE). The overall national passing rate for the said examination is only 74.94%.
In a consolidated resolution authored jointly by Councilors Pamela “Fa” Fugoso, Irma Alfonso-Juson, Louie Chua, and Ernesto “Jong” Isip. Jr., the Council applauded the school’s 195 nursing graduates, all of whom hurdled the 2023 NLE, with 15 joining the topnotchers’ list, namely:

In view of this exemplary performance, the Professional Regulation Commission hailed PLM as the “Top Performing School” in this year’s NLE.
The Council swiftly approved the resolution, with Vice Mayor John Marvin “Yul Servo” Nieto holding the gavel.
“With utmost support from Mayor Maria Sheila “Honey” H. Lacuna-Pangan, PLM continues to shine as one of the premier universities in the country”, said Nieto.
PLM is a chartered and autonomous university funded by the City Government of Manila. It offers tuition-free education to deserving and academically qualified students from all over the country.
