The Manila City Council lauded the Pamantasang Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) for giving pride to the city government in the recently held Mechanical Engineering (ME) Licensure Examination.
PLM achieved a 92.23 percent passing rate among its examinees, a remarkable performance for the city-run university.
The city government said one of the PLM examinees ranked 10th in the exam.
In line with these achievements, a city resolution was filed by Councilor Pamela “Fa” Fugoso-Pascual of Manila’s Third District during their regular session last on March 12.
“PLM has always been a pride in the City of Manila. It is a consistent producer of topnotchers in the licensure exams done by the PRC. Its alumni excel in their chosen fields and contribute in the development of the City of Manila and our country in general. In the recent ME Licensure exam, we landed the Top 10 spot in the person of Engr. Allen Paul Lumanao Jasareno who got 90.45 % in the said exams”, Councilor Fugoso-Pascual said in her speech.
The city resolution was celebrated and supported by the entire council and was approved as City Resolution No. 152, series of 2024.
